I am going taking classes online at the university of Phoenix and trying to find a job in the field of cdpt and cannot. I have had clinician's tell me my CD classes online will not be recognized in the state of Washington.

I plan completing a MA in Counseling in Tennessee, December 2012. I have and AS and a BS degree, but no addiction courses. I forsee having to go back to take the state requirements, as I would like to begin the supervision to obtain the CDP, rather then the LPC. Please any suggestions, good colleges, community colleges I could attend, and possible employers. I plan to relocate to WA at some point in time. Thank you. I welcome communication via email as well.
